Michael Uwandi has brought his vision to projects like Moon Knight, Dungeons and Dragons, Blue Beetle, Star Wars the Mandalorian, Star Trek: Picard, Predator: Killer of Killers, Insomniac’s upcoming Wolverine game, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra and Fortnite as an Creative Director, Art Director, Concept Designer and Visual Strategist.

As visual storyteller, he has collaborated with premier studios, including Marvel, Netflix, Warner Bros., ILM, Disney, DC, and Sony helping define tone, world building and design language at a strategic level. He has also contributed to Emmy nominated series, including the Mandalorian, Moonlight, Westworld and The Book of Boba Fett.

Uwandi also cofounded the 9B collective – the first black owned visual development studio, where he led creative initiatives that drive more representative in storytelling and entertainment. Through partnerships with the Brick Foundation, Vijona and the Compton Alliance he supports access and mentorship pipelines for emerging talent.
